For anyone that thinks Renovating older houses are tough. Try fully renovating a brand new house not done to the standards it should have been.
Having worked on many complicated High End Renovations I underestimated the amount of logistics that come with a brand new house renovation.
So much back and fourth on what stays and what goes, maybe we keep it and it’s not that bad, is it worth while storing and reusing and will that be a compromise on the new design ?
Are we guiding the client in the right direction on what’s worth spending the money on ?
Months later it’s all got to go and start redesigning with time lost.
Just when you think the next one can’t get any tougher. Every project has its own share of complications and logistics that require its own special adaptation. Whether it’s adapting to the design team, client , budget, timeline, structure it’s all new learning and strategy.
