Jamie led us through a 3 year project that took many twists and turns as it spanned COVID which had many challenges including shortages in materials and people power. The MCC team navigated everything with professionalism, open communication and excellence. It was a long and arduous process but we came away with a wonderful house we love and great new friends. Jamie and his team at MCC acted as our GC for our recently completed large scale condo renovation in a very challenging building . They worked seamlessly with us and our designer – even though we are 4,450 KM away – and delivered on time and on budget! They knew when to press and when to challenge and when it was time to get things done. Jamie was always honest and straight with us and so we were always set up to make the best decisions. We engaged MCC to do a significant remodel of our Whistler property in 2019. Jamie and the team did an outstanding job, delivering on time, and on budget despite many obstacles put in their way. I hired MCC to renovate my Whistler home. I had a very tight timeline which didn’t deter Jamie. After a couple of meetings I felt like I had a collaborator, not just a contractor. Jamie mapped out each step and his team executed perfectly. Jamie thinks several steps ahead and was always ready with a contingency plan if we ran into surprises. His attention to detail and commitment to perfection is genuine. He does not take shortcuts and made several design suggestions along the way that improved on my vision. Jamie and everyone on his team was a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend them enough.

Modern concept contracting is an outstanding company and I highly recommend using them for any renovation project. I have used modern concept for two different renovation projects and they were on time, efficient, transparent and performed all work at a very high standard. They are also great at communicating during the work, so we were constantly in touch about any changes. Blake, Jamie and the whole team are great partners and I would use them any time.
